Sour Mash requested YHC to Q BBBC this week and a new route had been on my mind since I often drive by this route on the way to golf.<\/p>\n
The launch spot was determined as Tanglewood Harris Teeter with a simple out and back via 158 and a venture into the BB&T (guess it costs too much to change the signs to Truist) soccer complex.\u00a0 Turn around at 22 minutes and return to HT.<\/p>\n
Since this was crossing over into Davie County some eastern Davie pax were invited.\u00a0 Then Drano decided this would be a nice convergence of sorts and brought along Pony Boy, one of the MoxPax.<\/p>\n
A strong BBBC showing of 11 ventured across the river and ran various routes.\u00a0 A brave and faster contingent ran across the new pedestrian bridge that crosses I-40.\u00a0 The new territory seemed to agree with all so much that we decided a convergence launch will take place every month on the 3rd Friday with a spot tbd by the Q somewhere west of Harper Rd and east of 801.\u00a0 That should give plenty of options and a monthly opp to put some miles in with our Davie Co bros.<\/p>\n

thanks to Fender for pulling me along for first half of run and Schneider for us pulling each other along for the last half.\u00a0 My mileage was about 3.6.\u00a0 Some got more, some got less. Lots of options in this area.<\/p>\n
Fast pax obviously did not heed directions for they were found sitting at parking lot when YHC returned in slightly under 44 min.\u00a0 But they did cross the new bridge so that was an accomplishment.<\/p>\n
Good to meet Pony Boy and glad this idea sprouted a plan for a regular convergences.\u00a0 Looking forward to seeing new faces.<\/p>\n
Also think YHC created a new term with Moxpax.\u00a0 Drano decided it sounds like a cream you would apply – Road Apple agreed that it cures fartsacking and other ailments.<\/p>\n
Large contingent of Hates today.\u00a0 No single respects but YHC checked off the double respect box.\u00a0 War Daddy by about 15 years.<\/p>\n

Drano mentioned another 5k in Mocksville – later in fall – look for addl info or contact Drano<\/p>\n
