YHC did not have time and q’ing is still a bit anxiety provoking so with the possibility of rain I did a slight repeato of last week’s trivia tabata at Parliament, this time with a different theme and bad water themed jokes that younger kids might like.<\/p>\n
Theme was water – rain – hurricanes – would have been nicer if it was raining – for the trivia, music and jokes.<\/p>\n
Did anyone know there was a group called The Distillery. They seem to have one pretty popular song called Bang Your Mullet, Toe Tag would like it, it has banjos.<\/p>\n

Tabata, 45 sec on, 30 sec off during which there is a trivia question or a joke, if trivia question was missed we did burpees for the 45 sec. We took a break (no trivia) if too many rounds of missed trivia with burpees.<\/p>\n This group was strong, or the questions were easier, about 2\/3 correct.<\/p>\n These are the exercises we did:<\/p>\n OH Press, Shoulder Tap, Dips, Monkey H’s, Mtn Climber, Skull Crushers,\u00a0American Hammer, Incline Press,\u00a0Squat,\u00a0Plank Jack,\u00a0Upright Row, LBC, Merkin,\u00a0Forward Lunge, Curls,\u00a0Banana \/ Hollow Body Hold,\u00a0Freddie Mercury,\u00a0Carolina Drydock, Heels to Heaven, Bird Dog Alternating,\u00a0Jane Fonda Side Hip Dip style<\/p>\n We worked in about 5 rounds of burpees in there, for 5 missed questions. 11\/16 is ~70%, that’s pretty good.<\/p>\n Mary<\/strong><\/p>\n OK, it would be fair to call the whole workout Mary. But we did Ring of Fire starting with 5 (pushups going around the circle in order while everyone planks, count down by 1 each round), Low flutter ~15, box cutter ~15, Plank to end.<\/p>\n Other stuff<\/strong><\/p>\n Props to 60 Minutes, Harden, Schneider, for the pre-run with me, organized by 60 Minutes.<\/p>\n Thanks to Airbag for coming out. Now 60 you can ask him to Q.<\/p>\n Sour Mash was strong with the trivia starting with giving a more complete answer to the difference between a hurricane and a typhoon than I had written down.<\/p>\n 60 minutes ran screaming from the workout about 35 min in, he says “to go to work”… I think the joke about why the ocean broke up with the pond put him over the edge (she thought he was too shallow).<\/p>\n Why did the PAX not laugh at my jokes? Like water maybe they did not like dry humor.<\/p>\n Hurricane Season is from June 1 to Nov 30 (6 months), and the sun evaporates a trillion tons of water a day.
