As I pulled into the HP parking lot, I was very pleased to see The Vig and Mongoose.\u00a0 It had been a long time since I had seen them on a Wednesday at Hanes Park and I did not want to disappoint them or the rest of the Pax with a less than stellar beat down.<\/p>\n
Rather than begin with the traditional calisthenics, we started our journey out the driveway with a goal of making it all the way around the park, stopping a various stations.<\/p>\n
1st Stop:\u00a0 picnic area at Hawthorne for the traditional series of SSH, Imperial Walkers etc.\u00a0 I threw in Monkey Humpers for good measure.<\/p>\n
2nd stop:\u00a0 Hill behind Wiley.\u00a0 Construction threw in a slight monkey wrench as we used the less steep side of the hill for a round of “7s.” 6 burpees at the bottom, 1 star jump at the top.\u00a0 The 5 and 2 etc.<\/p>\n
3rd stop:\u00a0 Pull up bars.\u00a0 5 pull ups followed by 5 squats. 5 pull ups, 10 squats, 5 pull ups, 15 squats.\u00a0 We ended with 25 squats.<\/p>\n
4th stop:\u00a0 Bench area near Northwest Blvd and Reynolda.\u00a0 7 layers of dip.\u00a0 7 double count dips alternating with Derkins, Merkins, Erkins, left an right leg Step ups, Squats and Lunges.<\/p>\n
5th stop: Playground below the Intimidator.\u00a0 2 sets of 25 reverse rows on the swing set, alternating with more squats.<\/p>\n
4 minutes of Mary<\/p>\n
Hanes Park makes for a great AO.\u00a0 There is so much variety and we tried to take advantage of as much as we could in 45 minutes.<\/p>\n
Not a lot of mumble chatter, but we kept our heart rates up and got in a good sweat.<\/p>\n
