Few movements on repetition…and luckily that is what the Q had in store.

We had a roaming Warm A Rama, where we did a few movements on our way to the cinder block stock. Each Pax was supposed to pick out a special coupon and we carried it back to the front of church. When we got to the front parking lot, YHC had everyone go on a warm up mosey. We ran around specific medians that were somewhere between 300-400 meters. The PAX were told to get familiar with this route!

The (very simple and stupid) Thang

Partner up…(I cannot stress the amount of focus i had from these guys as they seemed to know something crazy was coming)

Both partners walk the same path as we just ran while holding the coupons overhead. (Wait for it) You will walk laps for the rest of the time (about 35 min left). If either partner lowers the block anything lower than elbows locked out overhead, then both partners stop and do a penalty (wait for it…). Each time you stop, add a burpee to your total! When you make it 5 laps, then you can reset your burpee counter. 🙂

lets just say no one was excited about this. When everyone started, VanGogh and I were in front abs felt good for the first 50 meters. (I felt this would be a hard workout but that we should get about 7 laps in…I was horribly wrong) I broke down first and did our first burpee as the rest passed us. That is when I believe Fender and Huck took the lead and never gave it up! Followed by Workbench and Catfish…these guys were having regular conversations and I believe they just felt like stopping every once in a while to prove they were human. Then you had Zima and Snake Eyes, who I thought we would hang with (WRONG), they came by and I hear Snake saying how the block was 1/6 his weight. So to offset that in some weird solution, they both decided to jog with their blocks. Meanwhile, I got the opportunity to show Van Gogh how it felt to be the 6. Not proud of it, but he would set goals and (like my high school Spanish class) I under achieved every single goal. We both got up to 15 burpees by the time we started our 5th lap. But before we got to that point, sometime during lap 2, VG convinced me we should add a mosey lap in there. So I quickly agreed and after the ) finished their 2nd lap, we all stopped and moseyed one lap back to our bricks.

6:45 could not have come any slower. My goodness. These PAX were absolute warriors and I am proud of what they did as a group. Each partner pushed the other well and got further than where one would have gotten by themselves (except VG who would have made it a lot further!).

not sure this one will get repeated and not sure any of these pax would want it to. :/

enjoyed the Super Maxx and look forward to Qing it again.

Was not sure what to expect when the temp was below 30 degrees, but 7 brave PAX came out to see what shenanigans I had in store for them. Right around 5:29 is when YHC found out from Van Gogh that the weinke for this AO is supposed to be small.
