When the 5:15 crew launched it looked like we were in for a very light turnout, but in the end a good number of men turned out for a somewhat balmy if misty morning.
\nGenerally both groups took a counter clockwise tour of down town. Everyone got to start out climbing West End, found a section of the Long Branch trail and got to finish with a big down hill section on Summit St. The OG route picked up a few more hills when it bottomed out at the Old Salem Circle and then climbed back up Salem and Research Parkway.<\/p>\n
Always great to run with Glazer and ‘BoutTime. Glazer regaled with stories of Moravian settlers and street names. ‘BoutTime seemed relaxed as his “work day” apparently involved shotguns and pheasants. He was blissfully unaware of the ammunition shortage and graciously offered that I could visit his armory to pick up some elusive 16 gauge shells. Gracias! <\/p>\n
