8 Gathered for WIB yesterday for a little fun running and gunning.\u00a0 Cagney’s on Cloverdale was the spot and Miller Street provided the first leg of our journey.<\/p>\n
YHC wanted to have some mileage thinking Friday may be a day of rest.\u00a0 How wrong could I have been.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, this is the way it went.<\/p>\n
1st corner:\u00a0 25 overhead claps, 20 Mutton Crunches each side, 25 Calf Raises<\/p>\n
2nd corner at top of Miller:\u00a0 25 Carolina Dry Docks, 25 Juanitas, 10 Lunges each leg<\/p>\n
3rd corner:\u00a0 25 Merkins, 25 LBCs, 25 Squats<\/p>\n
Last Corner:\u00a0 10 Burpees, 100 Low Flutter, 10 Side Lunges each leg<\/p>\n
We made it through 3 laps, plus some Mary at the end.<\/p>\n
Circle of Trust:\u00a0 Certainly the travesty that occurred in our nation’s capital the day before was on our minds.\u00a0 There is something simmering beneath the surface that needs to acknowledged and dealt with.\u00a0 Prayers that our new leaders will have the wisdom to address the problems that cause this violence.\u00a0 I fear it will not go away and can’t be ignored.<\/p>\n
Rather than a final prayer, YHC took us out with the Pledge of Allegiance and encouraged us all to lead by example.<\/p>\n
