YHC announced at last week’s WIB that it would be same location and the pax were polled for time since it would be Christmas Eve.\u00a0 The surprising vote was for the regular time of 0530.\u00a0 Later in the week over some beverages, some other pax suggested since it was a WIB, YHC didn’t have to show up to Q at 0530 and could have an alternate option at 0700.\u00a0 It was a Christmas miracle!\u00a0 Two gifts for the pax.\u00a0 Double down options galore.\u00a0 Now if only the weather would cooperate.<\/p>\n
YHC pulled into the lot and found 4 pax already there.\u00a0 Schneider, 60 Minutes, Sour Mash and Turnover were warmed up from a 0530 Distillery.\u00a0 Other pax started rolling in and YHC cranked up some Christmas tunes (unfortunately we would only hear them corner #1).\u00a0 After some minimal warmorama we began the trek around the east end of Thruway with the following stops<\/p>\n
S – SSHs at Talbots<\/p>\n
A – Ass Kickers at Trader Joes<\/p>\n
N – Nolan Ryans at Chopt<\/p>\n
T – Tempo Merkins near light pole in parking lot<\/p>\n
A – American Hammers near McDonald’s<\/p>\n
Round one was 12 reps, round 2 24 reps, round 3 back to 12, round 4 back to 24, etc.<\/p>\n
NMM<\/p>\n
No dull knives with the 0700 pax – they quickly caught on we were spelling SANTA and the reps were 12 and 24.<\/p>\n
3 pax chose the early bird option at 0530 – TClaps to Zima, Cherry\u00a0 Pie and Root Canal.\u00a0 Strong group there.<\/p>\n
First time WIBers Sour Mash and 60 Minutes seemed to get their money’s worth.<\/p>\n
Strong work on the double down by the aforementioned pax.\u00a0 Unknown if any took the WIB\/TRQ challenge.\u00a0 There were no WIB\/WIB pax.<\/p>\n
There was some confusion over which light was the T stop.\u00a0 Parking lot was much easier that some interpretations of running to traffic light.\u00a0 Hope 0530 crowd took the low road.<\/p>\n
Tempo Merkins were a #crowdpleaser.\u00a0 We needed one tough station.\u00a0 Other choice was Turkish get ups or a bunch of exercises that started with “the”. BAM was in favor of The Body Destroyer.<\/p>\n
Youngsters Cheesesteak and Turnover couldn’t pull away from Respects Drip and Plunger.\u00a0 4 in the Larry Bird pack this morning.<\/p>\n
Most got in 5 or 6 laps.<\/p>\n

There will be running routes posted (maybe already are) but don’t leave the family and run Christmas morning.\u00a0 You’ll have time early afternoon when kids have the new PlayStation going.<\/p>\n

Look for coming news re Dash anniversary workout in January. None of pax in attendance had any info.\u00a0 But we’re certain someone will cook up something for 7 years of Dashstrong.<\/p>\n

One final note – Cheesesteak thanked me for having the rain hold off.\u00a0 I related a quick story of what my minister once said when I made a similar comment a church golf tournament.\u00a0 He said, “I’m in sales, not management.”\u00a0 May we all be in sales this season and in the new year for all 3 Fs.<\/p>\n
