NMM: From what I could tell from my end of the line, all pax were getting after it and got over halfway down the weinke. Offsides, Lace, and Root Canal all got down the list to Ranger Merkins \u2013 I\u2019m sure some others did too but there were a lot of you to keep tabs on while I was sucking wind.<\/p>\n
After running this beatdown at Parliament with all exercises x20 and Purgatory x15, it\u2019s clear to me that the only way you get through this weinke is at an hour long workout and with all exercise x10. Or x8. Or even x5. Some serious modification will be needed to the future versions of Burns\u2019 Ladder.<\/p>\n
Apparently there was incessant MC flowing from Bevo\u2019s mouth, and it was revealed that he had an extra cup of coffee or two before hopping in the car this AM. Henceforth be it decreed that Bevo is allowed no pre-gloom caffeine.<\/p>\n
Turnover\u2019s Movember efforts were the target of a lot of MC that I overheard. The man is trying to raise money and awareness for men\u2019s prostate health and this is how you treat him? I don\u2019t care that he looks like he could be the driver of a windowless white van and maybe shouldn\u2019t be allowed on an elementary school campus under any circumstances \u2013 it\u2019s for a good cause, dammit!<\/p>\n
BAM had some harsh critiques of the music this morning. Apparently the chorus of \u201cRide My Rocket\u201d by The Jompson Brothers is a thinly veiled sexual innuendo. I hadn\u2019t caught that before *shrug*<\/p>\n
6 beatdowns in a row and YHC was the war baby at each. We need to do some recruiting, folks. Find the younger people at work, church, on your street, and tell them that amazing things happen in the gloom.<\/p>\n
The biggest of T-Claps to Turnover and Root Canal who have made it out to all 6 of my beatdowns thus far, and are HCs for the ruck tomorrow to top it all off. It\u2019s been really fun for me, and I\u2019m sure they\u2019ll echo that (right, guys??)<\/p>\n
At this point, I\u2019ve had 42 unique pax make it out to a #BurnsHellWeek beatdown, and that\u2019s really special, too. This group means a whole lot to me, and I\u2019m thankful that I got to do something #CSAUP and 42 of you were willing to experience at least a part of it. Notably absent from each: Palin.<\/p>\n

Lots of prayer requests were raised, but my recording cut off so if I miss one please forgive me. Nightstick (Lee Hemphill) young daughter had emergency surgery this week as her cancer returned unexpectedly. $5 Footlong is battling multiple health issues and needs our support \u2013 walks during or before beatdowns, 2nd<\/sup> F, and any other needs that come up. $5 also had a friend lose a child to miscarriage recently. Lemming\u2019s father is in the hospital with heart disease related complications. Lace\u2019s neighbor was in a car accident. YHC took us out lifting these and other requests up to the Sky Q.<\/p>\nOffsides \u2013 thanks for the keys. I\u2019m doing my best to never have them again, aren\u2019t I?<\/p>\n
