It was stated on #TheTwitter prior to Friday that the difficulty of the beatdown YHC had planned for #UA would be directly correlated to the outcome of the Thursday night game between Ark. St. and YHC’s beloved Appalachian (APP – uh – LATCH – in) State Mountaineers.\u00a0 Luckily for the assembled PAX, the mighty Mountaineers dispatched the Red Wolves of Arky State without incident, 45-17.\u00a0 The inspiration for the beatdown came from none other than App St head coach Shawn Clark who, last season when filling in as the interim head coach for App’s bowl game against UAB, gave one of the greatest quotes in the history of humanity when describing what his game plan was:\u00a0 “I don’t want you to think just because I’m an O-Line guy that we’re going to run all night.\u00a0 We’re going bombs over Baghdad, and we’re sandpapering that ass.” Sandpaper they did, in the bowl game and on Thursday against stAte. @Post Hole wasted no time reminding YHC that he was not present at #Mayhem this past week. #AlarmProblems<\/p>\n
When discussing the App game from the night before, @Tigger made a comment that was a slight dig at former App coach Eli Drinkwitz that YHC appreciated very much. Don’t listen to what everyone else says, Tigger, you’re all right man.<\/p>\n
On the backwards mosey up Vine, YHC thought he was going pretty fast….until @Cheesesteak passed me like I was standing still about half way up.<\/p>\n
@Razzie and @BAM partnered up for the BOMBS portion of the beatdown and quietly dominated the entire thing.\u00a0 @Razzie did point out later, when YHC commented that the BOMBS took longer than anticipated, that maybe we all don’t do Merkins as fast as we thought we did. #TruthHurts 150 merkins really was brutal.<\/p>\n
@Drip continued to frustrate YHC by seeming to enjoy himself the entire time, the smile never leaving his face. One of these days I’ll find a way to tire that guy out.<\/p>\n
