Bluto had swing music on the brain.\u00a0 The decision was made to feature bands such as Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Squirrel Nut Zippers (from Chapel Hill, BTW), Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Brian Setzer (not Seltzer) Orchestra (hopefully fellow Simpsons fans will get the reference), Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris and Goldfinger.\u00a0 For a 6 month period, swing music was the hottest music on the planet.\u00a0 The run arguably lasted too long.<\/p>\n
Anyway, we did 10 different exercises, one each, then ran.\u00a0 Then we did 2 of each exercise, then ran.\u00a0 Then 3 of each, then ran.\u00a0 You get the point.\u00a0 We got up to 8 of each.\u00a0 The run consisted of running in the dark to a light post and back.\u00a0 When the fastest PAX (often IF, but there were some surprises) reached the post, everyone turned back.\u00a0 Total mileage ranged between 1 and 2 per PAX.<\/p>\n

Praises – Ivy League’s son, Grayson, is rehabbing well after a serious injury. Toe Tag and Hedwig will be working out with Ivy League in Charlotte in the near future.<\/p>\n
Announcements – Walgreen’s at Yadkinville and Reynolda Roads is offering free COVID testing.
