Well I can say that Cherry Pie, Total Recall and H.O.G. definitely know more after this morning!\u00a0 Today, we celebrated both the real Alexander Hamilton and the Broadway production \u201cHamilton.\u201d<\/p>\n

Started the morning off with a Warm-a-rama\u2026pretty unorthodox considering the Q had to lay out the ground rules for the workout\/pop quiz. J\u00a0 I explained that for the last week+, my wife has watched Hamilton 11 times!!\u00a0 My 3yr old is requesting it over any other Disney movie.\u00a0 This does NOT include the times we listen to the soundtrack on Alexa.\u00a0 So I figured I would put some historical data to use this morning.\u00a0 I started off with a simple question to show how the \u201cgame\u201d will be played.\u00a0 I asked if the \u201cHow many Tony\u2019s was Hamilton nominated for (which was a record)?\u201d\u00a0 I received 2 GUESSES and both were wrong.\u00a0 I explained that anyone could answer the questions asked today, but the first answer would be taken so do not blurt out a guess\u2026because a wrong answer was followed by a penalty.<\/p>\n

Mosey to the atrium with the fountain which would be the base of our operations.\u00a0 Upon arrival, I asked for a PAX to give me a number 1-8 which had a designated exercise tied to it.\u00a0 And since today was about Hamilton, I told the guys we would show honor of the age he died at\u202649.\u00a0 So every exercise would have 49 reps. J<\/p>\n

Through out the work out I would ask the PAX trivia, if they got them wrong, I would issue a penalty:<\/p>\n

If you answered the question wrong, we would stop the exercise and run out to the street and perfume the penalty.\u00a0 Once completed, we would come back in pick another number for a different exercise.<\/p>\n

A little glimpse into what this morning looked like\u2026<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Cherry pie led off the workout asking for #7 (the exercises we concealed and the PAX had no idea what the numbers correlated with) which were Step Ups.\u00a0 Explaining that we would do 48 to keep it even\u2026we didn\u2019t even make it that far. \u00a0The first real question came up: \u201cWhat U.S. currency is Hamilton on?\u201d\u00a0 If someone got it right, we would keep on doing step ups\u2026but we didn\u2019t even make it to 25 reps.\u00a0 NONE of the PAX got this right.\u00a0 I believe Total Recall was throwing out there that he thinks Grant is on the $50\u2026but this was not the questioned asked\u2026while Cherry Pie guessed $100 bill and H.O.G. said he thought the $5.\u00a0 After telling them, with a palm over my face, that it is in fact the $10 bill\u2026.we did 10 burpees. \u00a0It went on like this with some correct answers but mostly incorrect answers given with blank stares.\u00a0 Half way through, I shuffled up the workouts with a 2nd<\/sup> group of numbers associated to the same work outs.\u00a0 So #7 was then Broad Jumps.\u00a0 Kept us from picking our favorites.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Questions attached to penalties:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What U.S. currency is Hamilton on? (Was not a president)\u00a0 [Answered Wrong]<\/p>\n Name the first 3 Presidents?\u00a0 (Washington, Adams, Jefferson) [Answered by Total Recall]<\/p>\n What branch of the Government did Hamilton first lead and help create?\u00a0 (Treasury) \u00a0[Answered Wrong]<\/p>\n What were name of the essays written to help rectify and defend the Constitution?\u00a0 (Federalist Papers) [Answered by Total Recall]<\/p>\n Who killed Hamilton and how?\u00a0 (Burr in a duel)\u00a0 [This was actually answered before the question was asked by H.O.G.]<\/p>\n What office did Burr hold when he killed Hamilton?\u00a0 (Vice President) [Answered Wrong]<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Some other questions were thrown out there but just as fun\u2026One specifically to pick on Cherry Pie who said he does not retain much.\u00a0 I asked at the end of the work out AGAIN who was the King of England during the revolution.\u00a0 I specifically told the others they could not help\u2026his answer was Edward with a question mark on the end.\u00a0 That cost us all 10 more burpees.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n All good fun.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prayers for H.O.G. as he takes a trip to Ohio to preach at a summer camp.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Thanks for the fun Gents!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Do you know your history?
