9 pax gathered at Hanes Park this morning to discuss whoppers and music, but since Redline is a running workout we moseyed to the track for:<\/p>\n
WARMORAMA
\nOne lap around the track at an easy pace<\/p>\n
THE THANG
\nPax were divided into two groups. One group started on the Intimidator and the other group started on the track, to wit:<\/p>\n
Pax on the Intimidator ran to the fourth intersection, then turned around and went to the track, walking between the Intimidator and the track. Once they got to the track, they ran 800 meters. <\/p>\n
Pax on the track ran 800 meters and then walked to the Intimidator. Once they got to the Intimidator, they ran to the fourth intersection, then turned around and headed back to the track, walking between the Intimidator and the track.<\/p>\n
The pax then shortened the trip up the Intimidator by one intersection (second trip up run to the third intersection) and shortened the track distance by 200 meters every trip around the track (second trip around the track run 600 meters).<\/p>\n
The pax kept alternating between the Intimidator and the track and kept shortening the distance up the Intimidator by one intersection and the track by 200 meters. Those that reached the bottom of the ladder (first intersection\/200 meters) went back up the ladder until quitting time.<\/p>\n
We met at the bridge between the playground and the track, then did a jailbreak back to the parking lot. <\/p>\n

\nIt was great to see Sassy today. This was his first time posting at Redline. Logically, that makes this Redline the best one he\u2019s ever been to.<\/p>\n
The jailbreak at the end was a special request by BALCO. <\/p>\n
Roosevelt posted to the ruck Sunday morning, but he was not at Redline.<\/p>\n
We pokers finished the ladder just as time expired, which is the sign of brilliant planning and execution by the Q. (Actually, Sassy and I didn\u2019t \u201ctechnically\u201d do all of the required distances on the Intimidator, but that doesn\u2019t make for as good of a read). <\/p>\n
The Fleetwood Mac reference was about our splitting up at the beginning and each group going their own way. We looked semi-responsible. <\/p>\n
The Burger King reference was an invitation to \u201chave it your way.\u201d Don\u2019t want to go to the fourth intersection on the Intimidator? Fine, go 2.75 intersections up the Intimidator. Don\u2019t want to run 600 meters? Fine, run 500 meters. #youdoyou<\/p>\n
As always, I tried to come up with a plan that allowed the fastholes to burn their bacon extra crispy while we pokers just kind of simmered in the crockpot on low. <\/p>\n
There is a piece of glass embedded in the pavement in the parking lot of the Chic Fil A at Thruway.<\/p>\n
Although some people [probably mistakenly] attribute the word \u201cgaudy\u201d to the Spanish architect Gaudi, this is probably not correct.<\/p>\n
