{"id":12159,"date":"2020-05-19T11:40:16","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T15:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=12159"},"modified":"2020-05-19T15:23:37","modified_gmt":"2020-05-19T19:23:37","slug":"redline-in-a-deck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2020\/05\/redline-in-a-deck\/","title":{"rendered":"Redline in a Deck"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Third Core Principle:\u00a0 F3 workouts are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Warmarama<\/u>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>H.O.G. and YHC ran in from Cloverdale Ace Hardware and then stood under a tree at Hanes Park to shield us from the rain as we waited for the Redline regulars to show. \u00a0No dice.\u00a0 So, we ran back in the direction from whence we came to the Piedmont Plaza deck.\u00a0 Fully warm, we commenced with:<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The Thang:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starting on bottom level of parking deck:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Run up one level, mosey one level until reaching the top and then back down<\/li>\n<li>Run up two levels, mosey one level until reaching the top and then back down<\/li>\n<li>Run up three levels, mosey two levels until reaching the top and then back down<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Taking a break, we did:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sprint up one level, mosey back down<\/li>\n<li>Repeat six more times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Grand finale, run hard from bottom level to the top (five levels).<\/p>\n<p>Mosey back to Cloverdale Ace Hardware.<\/p>\n<p>~6 miles covered altogether.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Announcements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Memorial Day CSAUP: Estate at 0530, Outhouse at 0700, Speakeasy (Zima\u2019s house) Murph at 0815.\u00a0 Join for one, two, or all three!\u00a0 A group will run to the next AO between workouts.\u00a0 Water will be stationed at the Outhouse and Speakeasy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Prayer Requests:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Physical healing for Turnover, $5 Footlong, and Van Gogh.<\/li>\n<li>All those suffering from loss of work\/income\/dignity, and from anxiety resulting from Covid-19.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Definitely would not have left the house if I didn\u2019t know someone would be waiting on me, especially after glancing at the radar on the way out the door.\u00a0 Thankful for the accountability of F3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Third Core Principle:\u00a0 F3 workouts are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold.
