10 pax showed up on a rainy morning for the VQ of Honey Badger.\u00a0 He had promised a dry parking deck workout and the pax selected this AO to witness his VQ and stay dry.\u00a0 To their surprise, Honey Badger had to leave town last night due to the birth of his newly adopted daughter.\u00a0 He sent me a message and YHC was ready to step up and take over his workout.\u00a0 So here is what happened………<\/p>\n
everyone gathered in the parking deck and at 0530 we circled up.<\/p>\n
warm o rama – SSH x 35 IC, IW x15 IC, Abe Vig OYO, merkins x 10 IC.<\/p>\n
the thang – we stayed under the shelter of the parking deck and elected to do a 40 minute yoga workout.\u00a0 it has been a long week with lots of difficult workouts, so we just stretched.\u00a0 Zima spoke kind words to everyone.\u00a0 Van Gogh was complimentary on everyone’s form.\u00a0 Cherry Pie was pleased with the slow pace.\u00a0 And whirly told stories of the past.<\/p>\n

So you know that is not what happened, right?\u00a0 Honey Badger story is a fact.\u00a0 Otherwise……..well, here is what really happened.<\/p>\n
Honey Badger promoted a dry workout.\u00a0 one day he will have his VQ and can keep the pax dry if he chooses.\u00a0 I did not take that route.\u00a0 yes we met in the parking deck.\u00a0 yes multiple pax were pissed to hear that he was not coming and that yhc was going to lead.\u00a0 we did warm up in the parking deck since whirly was already standing in there at 520.\u00a0 Zima was pissed about the candance of the warm up.\u00a0 Cherry Pie complained that this was WIB so why did we need this much warm up.\u00a0 blah blah blah.\u00a0 guess what……..we took off out of the parking deck into the mother storm outside….rain or shine….its in the rules.\u00a0 lots of complaints.\u00a0 several pax actually almost drown in a puddle on the way to the publix parking lot.\u00a0 yep, we left the parking deck, parking lot, and crossed the street.\u00a0 this is where is all went down.<\/p>\n
the thang: 4 stations around the publix, mayberry, midtown, bbq place shopping center.<\/p>\n
station 1 – 5 dive bombers, 10 squats, 15 mountain climbers, 20 freddy merks<\/p>\n
station 2 10 diver bombers, 15 squats, 20 MC, 25 FM<\/p>\n
station 3 – 15 dive bombers, 20 squats, 25 MC, 30 FM<\/p>\n
station 4 – 20 DB, 25 squats, 30 MC, 35 FM<\/p>\n
