Schultz overslept for his Q, YHC was actually early to his Q. #bizarroworld<\/p>\n<p>So, the pax started running, driving, and walking in, and we had\u00a0 robust group of 10!\u00a0 As the group got chatty, the Q glanced at his watch and realized it was 7:31!!\u00a0 #kotters\u00a0 Since Valdez had EH&#8217;d an FNG, a disclaimer and brief introduction was given.\u00a0 And we were off!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-0-rama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mosey around the park to get things warmed up, to the right of course, only psychopaths do a warm up lap to the left!\u00a0 (or Toto in London)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Thang<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ladder work on the track\n<ul>\n<li>3 x 100 meter &#8220;fast running&#8221; with 2 minute recovery between runs<\/li>\n<li>3 x 150 meter &#8220;fast running&#8221; with 2 minute recovery&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>3 x 100 meter &#8220;fast running&#8221;&#8230;.(you get it by now)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Fastholes did a bonus 400 meter run, just because they can<\/li>\n<li>Mosey to West End and Sunset intersection\n<ul>\n<li>All you got\/all you want to give until first person arrives at Glade<\/li>\n<li>That would be Sac and Bevo if you&#8217;re keeping score at home or at the Iron Pax Challenge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Mosey back to parking lot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Because we had an FNG, the Q wanted to make sure to model humility.\u00a0 The first act of graciousness was when YHC peeled off the warm up lap at intersection of Reynolda and NW and moseyed to the track from there.\u00a0 Not because is woefully out of shape and 78 lbs overweight, the Q was just being a gracious host to make sure the fast holes knew where to go next!<\/li>\n<li>It was a gift to hear Valdez share with Band Camp during the warmup lap about F3 and the what it means to him.\u00a0 #wegottagoodthinggoing<\/li>\n<li>To the Q&#8217;s surprise, some pax actually grumble when called to do any sprint work!\u00a0 Who knew that a bunch of middle aged dudes on a cold and wet morning wouldn&#8217;t want to sprint!\u00a0 What could go wrong?<\/li>\n<li>Balco straight up said &#8220;I don&#8217;t sprint&#8221; and then proceeded to run laps at a pace faster than the Q can sprint.<\/li>\n<li>Pax quickly ditched the rotund Q, but could be seen pushing themselves throughout.<\/li>\n<li>Since the sprint ladder work didn&#8217;t get the heart rate up, there was a minor pax led #Omaha to do a 400.
