It was a chilly 25 degrees for my second Charlie Foxtrot Q in the last 4 weeks.\u00a0 YHC had been working on an FNG for some time and remembered to send a DM on Friday and sure enough got a HC. But YHC had lots going on this weekend so a detailed theme or some new workout was not happening.\u00a0 The old 700 Club seemed to be just the right fit.<\/p>\n
2 oldtimers joined in the famous s\/s lot and my FNG arrived as promised.\u00a0 After a quick lending of gloves we began with some Warmorama.\u00a0 Several standards and then of course a DQ special with a few Dry Dock Crabs.<\/p>\n
From there we moseyed to the school parking lot and I explained the goal.\u00a0 7 stops at the top and bottom of the lot with a variety of exercises printed on back of grocery bags.\u00a0 YHC is not as fancy as Goofy or The Singing Cowboy with their cardboard – Boomerang suggested my wife should order more from Amazon.\u00a0 Enough discussion.<\/p>\n
We proceeded to do 50 reps of each exercise so when all were done a total of 700 reps thus the 700 Club. FNG was allowed to modify by ending his reps when the last pax finished theirs.<\/p>\n
You really don’t care what the exercises were but just know Boomerang wanted more shoulder work.<\/p>\n
Look at the time – the pax was unbelievably quick in knocking this out so we proceeded to the basketball court for some BLIMPS.<\/p>\n
Q was lenient on the burpees and only required 2 before moving on to 10 lunges, 15 ISTs, 20 merkins, 25 pickle pounders (since we had just done 50 plank jacks) and 30 squats.\u00a0 It took two rounds to traverse the court.<\/p>\n
We then went to the sideline for 4 rounds of animal transportation with 2 more burpees at the turn and a mosey back to the sideline.\u00a0 Bear crawls, Duck walks, Alligator crawls and crab walks were performed.<\/p>\n
We moseyed back to start for some Mary and we were done.<\/p>\n

Welcome FNG Pimento fka Kevin Heath – Pimento is a caterer (you may have eaten some of his tasty food at an event) so we tossed around a few chef names.\u00a0 He also has just purchased his previous partner’s share of a pimento cheese brand – Uncle Chris’ Pimento Cheese.\u00a0 That made the name easy – just like spreading it on a cracker.<\/p>\n
Boomerang and Quiver were vying for Larry Bird of the day but both joined Pimento (and YHC)\u00a0 several times and helped pick up six – never leave any man behind<\/p>\n
The lasting heat of the summer made the cold snap even a little harder to take.\u00a0 Various layering techniques were discussed<\/p>\n

Quiver and M have recently had a miscarriage but plan to try again.\u00a0 Boomerang’s sister dealing with cancer treatment, YHC’s SIL also dealing with same in addition to losing her 99 yr old father. Blue Steel out of hospital.\u00a0 Boomerang and YHC helped with move after workout.\u00a0 #inspiring<\/p>\n
