Six pax gathered at Parliament Tuesday morning to make fun of UNC’s loss to Appalachian State last Saturday. Every now and then, we took a break to do some exercises, to wit:<\/p>\n

\nEven though Gucci has already been coronated as the new site Q, we didn’t complete the workout that I came up with when I subtly suggested Gucci volunteer to be the new site Q…so we finished it today by doing…<\/p>\n

Seal crawl on the grass (but not very far because it sucked)

Queen of hearts (I made up this exercise…it’s kind of like million dollar view, except instead of throwing legs out and back, the standing pax resists the pax laying on the ground while the pax laying on the ground opens and closes his legs)<\/p>\n

\nWe modified the empty wheelbarrow because, well, no one could do it<\/p>\n
The three amigos was a crowd pleaser and is probably as attractive to outsiders as pickle pounders and Alabama prom dates<\/p>\n
Either seal crawls are really hard or we really suck or both.<\/p>\n
YHC provided the musical entertainment for In the plank tonight (hold plank while playing Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight”…Fender said I was much more gifted musically than he. #notsurprised<\/p>\n
No one (that I remember) could complete the 360 degree turn with the jump at the top of the Tony Hawk burpee, but I came close, and Fender said I was much more gifted athletically than he. #notsurprised<\/p>\n
The Queen of hearts was hard to explain and demonstrate, but I needed a Q<\/p>\n
Of all workouts to scare a new guy away from returning to another F3 workout, this was the one, but our FNG, Michael Sutton, has apparently already been to another workout. He obviously doesn’t take himself too seriously.<\/p>\n
Speaking of our FNG, he was named “Little House” because he went to Appalachian State, who beat UNC last Saturday. When App. State beat Michigan years ago, they called it the win at the big house, so we’re gonna call App’s win over UNC a win at the Little House. This way, every time someone hears his story of how he got his name, we get to watch UNC fans grimace. #beingtheQhasitsadvantages<\/p>\n

I whined about people whining about backblasts not being posted, but DQ said, “Whirly, stop whining and just do the damn backblast(s).” Although it wasn’t “technically” a “deal”, DQ took us out with the COT and I…did this backblast. #teamwork<\/p>\n
